"IT IS SPRING TIME IN KASHMIR"

With the advent of Spring in Kashmir, tourist arrivals are poised to increase. While the rest of the country simmers with rise in temperature from ending March onwards, one can experience cool climate in Kashmir with even heavy woolens required at the hill stations and sometimes even in the Srinagar City.

Tulip Garden has added a new vista to the Spring aura of Kashmir and presents a magnificent site when in full bloom – this garden, on the banks of the Dal Lake and in the foothills of the Zabarwan Range is in very close proximity to the tourist hub of Boulevard and will be open to visitors from the first week of April.

Moremesmerizingspectacles in Kashmir during Springare the blooms, particularly of Almonds and the place to be to savour this is the “Badamwari Park” at the foothills of Hari Parbat in downtown Srinagar.

The rural landscape of the valley is adorned by the spectacle of mustard fields – the yellow hues transform one to a world which is almost picture-perfect. While travelling to Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg one is mesmerized by the stunning yellow carpets, more so with snow-capped peaks in the background.
