Schools shut in areas in Jammu district hit by Pakistani shelling.

Jammu: Authorities Tuesday ordered closure of educational institutions in areas affected by shelling by Pakistani forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Jammu district.
"All educational institutions falling in tehsil Arnia, Suchetgarh, Pargwal, Kour, Garkhal areas in tehsil Akhnoor, Battal, Dakkhar, Seri pali in tehsil Khara Balli shall remain closed on Oct 8-9 due to continuous border firing," said a statement issues by the district magistrate.
"However, the schools where relief camps have been set up for accommodating the border firing victims shall also remain closed till Oct 11," it added.
