Terrorist ambush CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir, two injured
Srinagar: A group of suspected terrorists launched an audacious and daring attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle by
setting it on fire, injuring two jawans on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Anantnag district, reports stated on Saturday.
"Two CRPF jawans were injured today (Saturday) evening when militants fired at a CRPF vehicle at
Lev dora (Qazigund) on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Anantnag district," a senior police officer said.
According to reports, the injured troopers, part of a CRPF patrol in the area deployed to provide
security to traffic on the highway, have been taken to hospital.
