Vigilance Clearance to reach Vohra next week

PSC appointments

Srinagar:  The Government will most likely resend the appointment file of PSC members along with their vigilance clearance and integrity certificates to Raj Bhawan days for the final ascent by Governor N N Vohra after the re-opening of civil secretariat in Jammu next week.



Highly placed sources said that Government has kept ready the vigilance clearance and integrity certificates of all the PSC appointees for the onward submission to Governor N N Vohra who had raised some queries and sought relevant certificates from the Government and State Vigilance Organisation (SVO). It is in place to mention here that the State Cabinet has approved the appointment of  Khursheed Ahmad Ganaie as Chairman Public Service Commission and  Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad the present Secretary to Government Higher Education Department,Wali Mohammad Bhat Retired Director General Accounts & Treasuries, Retired Director Animal Husbanday Department Farooq Ahmad Kaloo, Retired Director General Planning & Statistics Department B.R.Lachotra, former Regional Director Mukerjeet Sharma and Dr Tejit Singh Professor Opthalmology (Retd.) as members.
 A top government official on conditions of anonymity told KNS, “The vigilance clearance and integrity clearance certificates  of the all the seven officers approved for appointment as Chairman and members at the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission have been prepared and kept ready for the perusal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah any time next week when Darbar opens in Jammu. The file of the PSC appointments alongwith Vigilance clearance and integrity certificates will be forwarded after its formal perusal by the Chief Minister to Governor for his final ascent  next week when Darbar opens in Jammu”.
