India, Pak must try peace instead of hostility: Mehbooba Mufti

Jammu: Asking India and Pakistan to try peace instead of hostility, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday appealed the Centre to resume the dialogue process with the neighbouring country.

"India and Pakistan must try peace instead of hostility that has brought only miseries to the people of this region," the South Kashmir MP said.
Mufti, who today toured border villages affected in the cross-border firings, said, "We appeal India to resume a dialogue process with Pakistan and if they want a war with Pakistan, then I appeal them that they should fight it anywhere else and not in Jammu and Kashmir where people have been suffering for a long time," she said.
Talking about the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti accused the government of failing to help the people during the calamity.
