J&K: Doda has 228 sensitive polling stations out of 291 PSs


Jammu: The mountainous district of Doda has 228 sensitive Polling Stations (PSs) out of the total 291 PSs.




From a total of 291 polling station, there are 228 polling stations which have been classified as sensitive, District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Doda Shyam Vinod Meena said today.

In the two Assembly constituencies, Doda has 139 polling stations, while Bhaderwah has 152.

A proper security plan and deployment of security personals and their lodging and boarding arrangements have been made, he said.

In the first phase due on November 25, polls will be held in 15 Assembly segments spread across seven districts of Bandipora, Ganderbal in Kashmir Valley, Kargil, Leh of Ladakh region, Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban of Jammu region.
