NC leader Nasir Aslam Wani's son poses with gun, party defends

Srinagar: Stirring yet another controversy for senior National Conference (NC) leader Nasir Aslam Wani, pictures of his son brandishing an AK-47 gun in the valley have reportedly gone viral.

The pictures show his son standing and posing with the gun next to armed personnel.
However, NC was quick to defend the son and said that Wani's pictures have been blown out of proportion.
“Do not exaggerate things. He is just posing with the gun, not harming anyone,” said party leader Surinder Singh while speaking to a news channel.
Wani, a close aide of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, was recently in the midst of controversy himself after pictures of him kicking a party worker surfaced.
The incident took place in Abdullah's home constituency Ganderbal.
Wani later denied the incident and said that the video footage was doctored.
