Kreeri link road in shambles

Kreeri: The link road from Kreeri bus yard to shrine of Syed Haji Muhammad Muraad Bukhari is in dilapidated condition which is irking the local residents as well pedestrians.




The road not only connects many Mohallas of Kreeri but is main link to adjoining Villages of the area.
While expressing their problems, the residents said the bad condition of roads has become a nuisance especially during rains. “See the potholes and the bumps along this road. In summers it is dusty and come winters it gets inundated adding to its bad condition and our woes. But no one is paying attention to macadamize the road,” said Nazir Bukhari, a local resident.
He further said that this is a way to famous Shrine of the area and people in numbers pay obeisance here. “Here people from different areas pay obeisance but seeing the condition of road they too get upset. We request administration to look into the matter,” he said.
Another local from the area said from last so many years the condition of the road is pathectic.Though work is on other link roads of the areas but this one is being left on God’s mercy. “So many potholes are visible on this road. It is very difficult to drive vehicles on this road,” said Shabir Bukhari
The locals also said that people throw garbage on the road thus further polluting the already shambled road.” Heaps of garbage is lying on the roads and sometimes people throw wastes on road which further aggravates the situation,” Junaid Bukhari said.
The Community hall where from tehsil was operated lies also on the same road. The residents have appealed to the concerned authorities to get link road repaired.Morover, the said that the dilapidated road have become accident prone.
