Jawan injured in landmine blast in J&K

Jammu: An Army jawan has been injured in a landmine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Defence spokesman said on Tuesday.

The jawan stepped on the mine on the patrolling track along the LoC in Saujiyan belt of Poonch district resulting in blast late last night, the
spokesman said.

The jawan sustained injuries and has been evacuated to military hospital by a helicopter. His condition is stable, he said.
